I bought this program and downloaded to my New Studio laptop, it is a excellent laptop and had no problems until I downloaded this program and tried to use it. It froze my computer and after running quick virus scan it had many threat issues, I then uninstalled the program and asked for a refund. I was ok with leaving it at that until the rude and unprofessional response I received from [email protected]. which is as follows~~We are happy to refund the user her purchase price. We have zero problems with WinWatermark as far as spyware and virus infections. Making these claims is rediculous and does bring up actionable concerns of this individual slandering our brand and reputation as a publisher.This is a customer that has problems with a poorly outfitted PC and expects high performance out of an outdated chip and low RAM.We will gladly refund the order.Thanks for your help. The customer did not request a refund through us.

First of all the definitely need spell check. I did however ask for a refund through the email address on the paypal receipt... and so everyone understands how rude this company can be I am adding my response. I did however receive the refund, but was very shocked at how unprofessional they were. I would never be so rude to a customer.

I was not slandering your company and my computer is not a poorly outfitted computer, thanks you. It is a brand new Studio laptop with all the extra's. Just to be clear, my NORTON 360 virus protection said your program is an unsafe program and after uninstalling it my computer works perfectly. I did however request a refund through the email address on the paypal account information. I do not SLANDER ANYONE! YOUR PROGRAM IS FILLED WITH PROBLEMS>>>>>

Ah, the problem is a false positive from Norton because the .exe for WinWatermark Pro does not have a security certificate "trusted" by them.

So there you have it. You are now better informed.

If Norton said it has threats and it proves to have threats upon using it, it obviously has threat you idiot. stop speaking to me like I have no clue, I know more about programing and computers than u could imagine. I normally would leave this alone, but because the company was so rude and wouldn't leave it alone I chose to let other consumers know how unprofessional they are, if they were this rude over a simple refund request imagine how rude they would be if you actually contacted them for help. It is up to u if u decide to trust the program, I tried it and had too many problems personally to deal with, I believe Photoshop will be an easier and safer program. It wasn't about the cost, I wanted a simple and quick program to watermark my 10,000+ pics and video's ...

Lack of company support or response. Evaluation version does not recover any files so cannot test. See full review for details.

Software seems okay, company does not respond to emails. When requesting info, company responds with partial answers (ie answers one Q from an email but not the others) or simply does not repond at all.

The evaluation version does not permit even a single file to be recovered, but it does analyze the drive and shows file names. Problem is, this only means it can read backup file tables, not actually recover any files. It may, but no way to tell without buying it.

I pointed this out and asked if they had a money back guarantee. If it works, I don't mind paying, but don't want to waste money on vaporware. The company has so far refused to respond.

So...are they hiding something, or do they have good software and simply lack business and communication skills? Who is to say?

Up until now about the only reviews are company propaganda, so no way to make a fair assessment without spending the money. Just something about financially supporting a company that refuses to answer basic questions that doesn't sit right.

Data recovery is about confidence in success without corruption and support when needed. This kind of company response hurts the industry. It's just a bad way to do business.

Alternatives include DiskInternals and some others.

My vote? If they were the only option...but since they are not, look for alternative vendors who support their product.
